As Martha Graham famously said, “Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” With the support of Platform C, I am thrilled to host an international folk dance workshop that creates a shared space for connecting and share our stories together.
Step into the lively, colorful world of folk dance with a fresh perspective! In these engaging workshops, you will explore the spirited steps of Dutch folk, the energetic rhythms of Indian folk (Bihu), and the passionate beats of Spanish and Mexican folk dances, all accompanied by live music. Each session will end with a special showcase, where participants can present the styles they've learned.
