WK Roeien op de Bosbaan Amsterdam

In de zomer van 2026 is de Bosbaan in het Amsterdamse Bos het kloppend hart van de internationale roeisport. Van 24 tot en met 30 augustus 2025 vinden op de iconische Bosbaan de Staatsloterij 2026 World Rowing Championships plaats.

Dit wereldkampioenschap brengt ruim 1.200 para- en elite-atleten uit meer dan zestig landen samen voor een week vol topsport, spanning en internationale saamhorigheid.

De Bosbaan, gelegen in het groene Amsterdamse Bos en grenzend aan de dynamische Zuid-As, ondergaat momenteel een grondige modernisering om klaar te zijn voor dit mondiale sportevenement. Met haar rijke historie als roeilocatie vormt zij het perfecte decor voor deze prestigieuze titelstrijd.

Zowel olympische als niet-olympische roeinummers staan op het programma. Natuurlijk is ook de Nederlandse equipe van de partij, sterk, ambitieus en gesteund door een enthousiast thuispubliek.
