Griffioen heeft iets nieuws: de Griffioen Comedy Club! Bij de Comedy Club geeft Griffioen het podium aan 3 stand-up comedians en 1 aanstormend talent. Bovendien zijn alle acts Engelstalig, zodat ook internationals van de voorstelling kunnen genieten. Meet the comedians Adam Fields (GB): Amsterdam based British comedian Adam Fields is an international funny man who has charmed audiences in numerous countries from Norway to South Africa, and from Britain to Indonesia. A lively and visual comic who consistently induces hard and fast laughter. His style is a curious mix of sophisticated English and neurotic Jew, with well-crafted routines that cover a broad range of topics from the political to the plain stupid. Adam has been a professional stand-up since 1998 and is one of the top headliners in the Dutch circuit. He has had a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and he also coaches comedians participating in the Benelux’s foremost stand-up contest. Kor Hoebe (POL): He is half-Polish and half-Dutch. On average, that makes him a German. Kor is a born and raised Amsterdammer. Despite having grown up in relative proximity to the UK, he speaks American English. He tries to be vulnerable on stage not because he wants to but because he needs to. He looks like the love child of Richard Branson and Boris Becker. That’s why he needs to. Kendra Borgen (USA): Born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra Borgen, inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson, began playing saxophone at age 8. In search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree) she bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam in 2004 and never looked back. She has been gigging as a comedian, comedy producer and local tour guide since 2010. Maeva Dolle (Fr): Meet Maeva. A French & Dutch yet English-speaking comedian. Her comedy has been described as “really nice” as well as “foul mouthed". Now that’s range. Maeva has been performing comedy throughout the Netherlands as well as in London and Paris and will perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022.
